General Information

Red Claw's are a very interesting species. Since they are not a dwarf species they are significantly larger then the shrimp most people are used to seeing. Red Claw's also have more personality then dwarf shrimp. They will react to you when you walk in front of the tank and follow your finger as you move it back and forth across the glass.

Appearance

As seen in the picture above, Red Claw's have a tan body with a slight bluish tint. Their claws however are red (thus the name). Young Red Claws seem to have black and red claws were as the adults have solid red claws. The alpha male will have significantly larger claws that are much deeper red then the other males or females in the tank.
