Ordering I prefer all orders to be processed through the website shopping card. If for some reason this does not work for you please contact me and we can try and work something out. Payment At this time I am accepting both Paypal and Credit Cards. Both methods will be processed through Paypal. After entering your details (name, address, etc.) on my website you will be redirected to Paypal's website to complete the transaction. You WILL be able to use your credit card even if you do not have a Paypal account. Other forms of payment may also be accepted on a case by case basis. Please contact me to request another form of payment. Shipping Options Although you are able to choose your own shipping methods the cart is set up to only allow certain shipping options based on what you are ordering. Dry Goods are the only thing that can be shipped using the Dry Goods selection. Livestock may be shipped either Priority or Express. Certain more sensitive species require Express shipping.
Shipping and Live Arrival Guarantee I ship by either Express or Priority Mail (your choice) using the US Post Office. All livestock are packed in Kordon Breather Bags. Shrimp will be shipped with something for them to hold onto (moss, yarn, etc.). I insulate the boxes using shredded paper. Depending on the weather I will use 72hr heat packs and Styrofoam to further insulate the package. In order to minimize the stress your livestock goes through, I would strongly suggest asking the post office to hold the package for you to pickup. In my experience, the USPS delivery trucks are not climate controlled but the post office is. I guarantee your livestock will arrive alive. Although I have had an excellent track record with live arrivals, I understand that sometimes things happen. To qualify for the guarantee you MUST inform me of any losses within 2 hours of the first delivery attempt. You must also be able to provide clear photos of the lost livestock if requested. If the worst should happen and some or all of your order does not arrive alive I will either reship the livestock (at my expense) or refund your money (including the applicable portion of shipping). I do, however, reserve the right to decide whether to reship or to refund the money. Shipping Size I ship juvi shrimp. Smaller shrimp produce less waste during shipping and therefore I am able to reduce the shipping weight and cost. Additionally young shrimp adapt better to a new tank then adults and therefore have a higher survival rate. Below are pictures of a actual order of Cherry Shrimp that I sent to someone. I have included a ruler for scale so you can see the average size of the shrimp I ship. Due to their size, please be careful when keeping them with fish.
International Orders Although I do not ship livestock internationally I do ship Mosura products internationally. Shipping will be $15 or $25 depending on what you are interested in. A combination of up to 10 bottles of Mosura (excludes 180mL Mineral Plus and Shizhen which are too large) will fit in a $15 box. Orders of Mineral Plus may require the $25 shipping depending on what else is ordered. I do not guarantee that these will clear your country's customs though. I will refund your money (less shipping) only if the product is returned to me. Below are the countries I have successfully shipped to so far but remember past sucess does not guarentee future sucess.
