Looking for a unique addition to your aquarium? Look no further than dwarf Yellow Shrimp! These little critters are the perfect addition to any tank, bringing a burst of color and life to your aquatic environment.
Dwarf Yellow Shrimp are another color morph of Neocaridina Heteropoda that started appearing in the hobby between 2006 and 2007. It is believed the yellow color was selectively bred from wild Neocaridina Davidi, a native of Southern Asia. The yellow coloring does not occur in the wild. They are natural scavengers, helping to keep your tank clean by eating leftover food and algae. They are low-maintenance and adaptable, making them a great choice for beginner aquarium enthusiasts.
Perhaps the best thing about dwarf yellow shrimp is their striking appearance. Their vibrant yellow coloration makes them stand out in any tank, especially against a dark substrate which really makes their colors pop. Adult females are generally the brightest yellow, with males being the least yellow. As many Neocaridina species females will sometimes have a bright stripe on their back.
Dwarf Yellow Shrimp are a great choice for anyone looking to add some life and color to their aquarium. These little creatures are a delight to watch and are sure to bring a smile to your face every time you catch a glimpse of them in your tank. Order your dwarf yellow shrimp today and discover the joy of owning these delightful little creatures!
